An infodemiologist dream come true?
Who is sick is a service that allows people in a community to share information about the local spread of diseases. Services like these would complement infodemiology methods and techniques to “automatically measure and track health information demand (e.g. by analyzing search queries) and supply (e.g. by analyzing postings on webpages, in blogs, and news articles) on the Internet with the overarching goal to inform public health policy and practice.”
